Files pertaining to the expansion of the La Jolla campus of the University of California. The files are comprised largely of correspondence of Roger Revelle, Director of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (1950-1964), Dean of the School of Science and Engineering (1959-1960), and first chief administrative officer of UCSD. The files also include correspondence from the San Diego aerospace firm General Dynamics and materials relevant to acquisition of property, negotiations with the city of San Diego, and the naming of the campus.
